The Ice Rink Dec 2006. So warm extra refridgeration units were drafted in but could not keep it frozen enough.
But still it was very popular!
Dec 2007. A little cooler, Being held at the castle out of sight meant , out of mind ?
But the roast chestnuts and the Roman were a great surprise.
Of Course 1978 was all about digging yourself out of your Street and helping to push start your neighbour.
Getting to work Only to get snowed in and hoping you may get home to your family the next day !
After that Snow Everyone was insisting on fitting snowgaurds to the roof above doorways and conservatories.
Many of those gaurds have since fallen and caused damage themselves ?
WHO would have guessed it would be thirty years before we could Build the next Snowman in our City
